Mission Statement
Grounded in Jesus Christ. Midway Presbyterian Church becomes one of the primary sources of spiritual nourishment, support, and enrichment for its members, a significant center of spiritual nourishment for the immediate community, and a committed involved participant in the broader Christian community of Anderson, our state and our world.
This mission includes:
Worshiping God by providing regular and varied opportunities for our members, children and neighbors to gather with God and each other around the Word and Sacrament;
Expanding the Faith of our members and children through the offering and promotion of Bible-based, creative, innovative and superior programs of Christian education;
Managing our God-given Resources of time, talent, and treasure by encouraging high standards of individual stewardship modeled in congregational practice;
Proclaiming the Gospel in word and deed by assisting and encouraging our members and children to identify and participate in opportunities for Christian witness;
Building a Christian Community among our family of members by offering challenging, informative, and meaningful fellowship activities through which all share in the joyful giving and receiving of knowledge and care.
